My two favorite pics from yesterday’s Halloween’s festivities at Full Sail (click on them to view the slideshow):
A video of the winning pumpkin, carved by the Computer Animation department:
This is the third time it happens: I won in Blingo AGAIN!! (sorry, Mat!)
Today I won (humbly) a $5 Amazon.com Gift Certificate, but I could have opted for a Fandango movie ticket (I just don’t go to the movies as much).
The way Blingo works is (refresher): you do your searches (they are powered by Google) using Blingo, while logged in with your account, and you can win. When you win, whoever referred you to Blingo wins too: this is what happened to me today (again) thanks to Gilberto!
So, join me in Blingo so we all can win.

Close to the end of today’s Open House at Full Sail, I joined my friend Tim in his photobooth for this interesting photo.
My friend Keith Alan Morris is a brilliant dude!
He used to teach Marketing back at Full Sail and now he’s going through the coursework to obtain an MFA in Entrepreneurial Digital Cinema from UCF, after which he plans on going back to teach and make movies, the two passions of his life.
Before I met him, he already had written and directed a movie (he even has his own entry in IMDB). Today, he has three motion pictures under his belt and his creativity and passion continue to fuel his work. He told me he’s a got a crazy cool idea he can’t wait to start shooting. I can’t wait to see what it is.
In the meantime, he’s posting in his blog tips for filmmakers. Check out what he has to say.
I did it. I played Guitar Hero for the first time. Mat walked me through the basics and I think I picked up at least the Easy level fairly well. We played one song at that level and then I got “greedy” and agreed to move up to the next level… I got my butt kicked! But it was fun.
I can now see how this little game can be so addictive…
This weekend I was spreading this meme and tagged a few of my buddy bloggers. Here is what they had to say: Luis, Rafa, Mat and Henkel.
Some running themes were Karate fighting, broken bones (though not necessarily related), electricity and burns (related), but the absolute BEST thing I had no clue about was what Rafa posted in #6: what he had to do unwillingly in a company he worked for once… It’s the weirdest and funniest thing I’ve heard in a very long time.
The only person tagged who hasn’t post yet is excused (for the moment) because:
(1) He’s at the Cannes Film Festival.
(2) He has posted (Rafa reminded me yesterday) a handful of comparable posts. Enjoy this one (too bad he no longer writes in English).
